Our thoughts and energy shape the reality we experience. When we hold onto limiting beliefs and negative energy, we create blocks that keep us from living in alignment with our highest potential. By releasing what no longer serves us, we can elevate our vibration, step into our power, and attract more joy, abundance, and peace into our lives.

Here’s how you can start releasing limiting beliefs and clearing negative energy to raise your vibration and welcome positive transformation.

Create an image of a sacred space altar in a cozy home setting. The altar should feature lit candles casting a warm, gentle glow, with incense burning and wisps of fragrant smoke curling upwards. Arrange a variety of crystals on the altar, each radiating their unique energy. Include a small, flickering fireplace in the background, adding to the serene ambiance. Place a lush green plant nearby to bring a touch of nature and life to the scene. The overall atmosphere should evoke a sense of peace, spirituality, and warmth.

Identify and Challenge Your Limiting Beliefs

Limiting beliefs are deeply rooted thoughts that hold us back, often formed from past experiences, societal conditioning, or fear. These beliefs might sound like:

  • “I’m not good enough.”

  • “Success isn’t meant for me.”

  • “I’ll never be able to change.”

The first step in releasing limiting beliefs is to identify them. Pay attention to your inner dialogue—what negative thoughts come up when you think about your dreams and goals? Write them down, and then challenge them. Ask yourself:

  • “Is this belief really true?”

  • “Where did this belief come from?”

  • “How can I reframe this belief into something empowering?”

For example, if you believe, “I’m not good enough,” replace it with: “I am worthy, capable, and constantly growing.” Rewriting your inner script shifts your mindset and helps raise your vibration.


Release Negative Energy Through Rituals

Negative energy can accumulate in your mind, body, and surroundings, weighing you down emotionally and spiritually. Regularly cleansing your energy can help you feel lighter and more aligned.

Ways to release negative energy:

Smoke Cleansing – Burn sage, palo santo, or loose incense blends with protective herbs like rosemary, juniper, or frankincense to clear stagnant energy.

Salt Baths – A warm bath with sea salt or Epsom salt, can help wash away negativity and restore balance.

Crystals – Carry or meditate with high-vibrational crystals like selenite, black tourmaline, or amethyst to absorb and transmute negative energy.


Practice Emotional Release

Unprocessed emotions can keep us stuck in lower vibrational states. Allow yourself to fully feel and release emotions rather than suppressing them. Cry if you need to cry and be angry if you need to be angry. This is okay!

Journaling – Write out your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Let it flow onto the page, releasing it from your mind.

Sound Healing – Chanting, singing, or sound baths can help shift stagnant energy. The vibrations help clear emotional blocks and raise your frequency to that high frequency that all our bodies want to be at.

Your environment plays a huge role in your vibration. Surround yourself with people, places, and things that uplift and inspire you. If something consistently drains your energy, it may be time to set boundaries or let it go.

  • Distance yourself from things that bring negativity into your life.

  • Unfollow social media accounts that make you feel unworthy or overwhelmed.

    • Spend time with high-vibe people who encourage and support your growth and its also okay to spend time alone if that is what you are called to do.

    • Create a sacred space in your home that feels peaceful and energetically clean where you can curl up with a good book or simply daydream. Give yourself permission to do this! It is okay!


Align with High-Vibrational Thoughts & Actions

Once you’ve released limiting beliefs and negative energy, it’s time to realign with a higher vibration. The thoughts and actions you choose daily shape your reality.

Affirmations: Speak positive, high-vibrational affirmations daily, such as:

  • “I am open to abundance and joy.”

  • “I release what no longer serves me.”

  • “I radiate love, peace, and positivity.”

Mindfulness & Meditation: Ground yourself in the present moment to stay aligned with your highest self.

Gratitude Practice: Focusing on what you’re grateful for instantly raises your vibration and attracts more positive energy into your life. Take the time to write a few things down that you are grateful for each day...or when you can!
